Lakewood Colorado Family Photographer; Parfenoff Brothers

Mid February, I had a fun filled, active, bubble blowing, geese chasing kind of a photoshoot with 3 brothers.  It couldn't have been more fun of a day!

I take the long walking route around Addenbrooke Park so we have lots of backdrops to chose from.  With surprises for my littlest clients like smarties candy and bubbles that fly away towards the mountains in the sweet Colorado sunset.  It's nice to share some smiles, and take candid shots of the kiddos playing and running around.

Sister Photo Session, Lakewood Colorado Children Photographer

These two sisters had some Superbowl spirit and the cutest smiles!  Being a family and children photographer in Lakewood, Colorado, I just love places like Addenbrooke Park.  The various backdrops provided by nature is my number one reason for taking clients there.  Plus, it's pretty convenient for most people to get to.  The large open spaces and paved walkway prove to wear the kids out just a little.  There are large areas to move and run around in...and that's what kids do best.  I take the long walking route around the park so we have lots of backdrops to chose from, and then the reward at the end is the big playground area.  Usually, with surprises for my littlest clients like smarties candy and bubbles that are blown through the breeze and drift towards the Colorado mountains.

C Family shoot; Denver Family Photographer; Lakewood Photographer

Welcome back, everyone!

I recently had a fantastic session with the "C" family. I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. We met at their house for some inside shots and then were off to the park.  They even had a snowball fight... with their kids!!!!  It was so fun to watch!  They are super fit, super fun and a high energy family.  We had tons of laughs in the snow together.

We met at Addenbrooke Park in Lakewood, CO. I love shooting at this location because there are so many natural backdrops in the area.  We walked around the little pond and had mountains in our shots, fields of snow, a rocky bridge area, playground area, and lots of Colorado sunsets and beautiful skies.

It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of the "C" family mom...

“Always bring 2 pairs of shoes...per person!” she says. Solid advice!

Denver Family Photographer - M Family Fun shoot

As a Denver family photographer, I get to drive to the most beautiful places in the state.  Lewisville, Colorado is no different.  Cute, quaint little town with lots of fun families.  The M family was just my style! A brother and two sisters with a great sense of humor and cool family vibes.  I know their mom has her hands full with these three!  They are all active in school and athletics, and love spending time with their mom!

As many of you know, my husband and I enjoy a little off roading and 4x4 adventures.  However, there is always a time and a place, and off-roading while selling our beloved Land Cruiser was definitely not the time.

Here is our latest write up about how NOT to sell a vehicle... My husband has some great advice for everyone.  I finally made it in a story too!  We were once known as "The Cruisers" and after this incident, our good friend named us "The Bruisers".  Enjoy!
